When is signup?Cub scouts is an open enrollment organization, so kids can join anytime during the year. We invite families to attend a meeting, speak with our enthusiastic volunteers, and see if Cub Scouting is a good fit for you.

What do we do?Below is a summary of our typical, monthly schedule. For exact times and dates, please visit our Calendar.
Weekly den meetings are held on Mondays twice each month. They assemble same-aged kids with enthusiastic adult leaders to enable kids to learn new skills, participate in team building activities, and work toward badges and rank advancements. Monthly pack meetings are held on Monday one time each month and assemble the entire pack to recognize scouts' accomplishments and provide incentive for continued development. Committee meetings are held one time each month to coordinate and plan upcoming activities, manage the Pack budget, and take care of other behind the scenes tasks. We ask that each family have an adult attend. Special events include pinewood derby, service projects in our community, camping and hiking trips to get kids outdoors, and other fun outings to capture opportunities available in the region. These are communicated well in advance and are generally optional. How much does it cost?Annual fees are $195 per year with the optional Scouts Life magazine. This is split between the local pack, regional council, and National Scouting organization.
We firmly believe scouting should be financially accessible to all. If finances are a challenge for your family, please contact us to discuss options. |
